    Rates

    £45 p/h for residents, £55 p/h for non-residents. A £150 refundable deposit is required to secure the booking, and parties will incur an additional £50 cleaning charge. Terms & Conditions apply.

      Booking Terms

      We’re excited to host your event and provide a space where memories are made. To ensure a smooth experience, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our booking terms.

        Booking Terms for Cowley RMO Community Centre

        Reservation Process

        1. Booking Confirmation: To secure your event date, please complete and sign our electronic Booking Form. This is a crucial first step before any confirmation is sent.
        2. Payment Terms: Full payment of the specified booking fee is required at least 21 days before the event. If your event is less than 21 days away, immediate payment is necessary. Payments should be made to COWLEY RESIDENT MANAGEMENT ORGANISATION (CRMO).
        3. Insurance Requirements: For certain events, you may need to provide a copy of your insurance. This can be sent to our address at Cowley House, 147 Brixton Road, London, or electronically to XDHSCowley1@lambeth.gov.uk at least one week before your event.
        4. Licences and Policies: Ensure you obtain any necessary licences for your event activities. If the event involves children, you must agree to and sign our Safeguarding Policy.

        Deposit Details

        • A deposit of £150 is required to confirm your booking. This can be paid electronically or via cheque for events booked more than 21 days in advance.
        • In the event of a cancellation within 7 days of the event, we may retain 50% of the deposit. The booking fee is non-refundable in such cases.

        Compliance and Damages

        • Non-compliance with our terms may result in the loss of your deposit and impact future bookings.
        • Any damage to the Centre or its contents will be the responsibility of the Hirer. A cleaning charge of £50 is applicable for parties.
        • If all terms are met, your deposit will be returned within 10 working days post-event.

        Health and Safety Responsibilities

        As the Main Contact, you’re responsible for ensuring:

        • Knowledge of emergency procedures, first aid, and evacuation plans.
        • Safe handling of equipment and maintaining a smoke-free environment.
        • Adherence to noise level regulations and respecting our residential area.
        • Reporting any accidents immediately and logging them in our Accident Report Book.
        • Leaving the Centre clean, orderly, and vacating by the specified times.
        • Please note, there is strictly no parking on the estate.

        Activities at the Centre must start no earlier than 8am (9am on Sundays) and finish by 10pm, with the venue vacated by 10:30pm.
